The Finance Department prepares all budgets and manages the investment of City funds and municipal bonds; maintains reports of all sales tax revenues, franchise tax revenues and debt service schedules; oversees the risk management and employee policies; and researches and prepares all financial and budget reports for the Mayor, City Council and Department Heads.

The City of Stafford does not have a property tax. Taxes are collected by the Fort Bend County Tax Assessor-Collector. For additional information, Click Here to visit their website.

Human Resources is responsible for payroll and employee benefits. Each Department Head handles the recruitment and hiring for its department. Applications are accepted only for vacant positions. To view available positions, Click Here.
