Recreation Department

The City's Recreation Department oversees the City pool and the Stafford Civic Center. In addition, the department regularly assists with events and operations at the Stafford Centre.

City Pool

The City’s pool and beach volleyball sand court are located behind the Civic Center. Swim programs for second- and fourth-grade students in the Stafford Municipal School District are held at the pool annually.

  • Stafford residents have access to the pool / open gym the entire swim season for $10 a person.
  • Daily passes for non-residents are: 5 years-adult, $4; 2-4 years, $2; under 2 years, free.

Pool Schedule

  • May 28th through Mid-August
    • Tuesday - Friday: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Saturday: 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Sunday: 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Mid-August through September 5th
    • Saturday: 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Sunday: 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Open Gym Schedule

  • Tuesday through Thursday
    • 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
    • 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Gym tags must be purchased at the pool.

Swim Lessons

Morning and evening; ages 4 and up. Sign up begins May 28.

Pool Parties

A three-hour pool party costs $100 for Stafford residents and $150 for non-residents.

Stafford Stingrays Swim Team
