Message from the Mayor

My fellow Staffordians,

As the holiday season approaches, I am grateful to be a part of this great community. I am proud to lead a city with such a strong sense of community, resilience, and kindness. As we come together to celebrate, let us also extend a hand to those in need. The holiday season is a time for generosity and compassion, and I encourage you to find ways to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Thank you for the privilege to serve as your Mayor. I am excited about the possibilities ahead for our great city, and I look forward to writing Stafford’s next great chapter with you. Thank you for making Stafford the wonderful community that it is.

Happy Holidays to you and your loved ones,

Stafford Economic Development Corporation News

I want to wish all Stafford citizens a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Bombshells on the Southwest Freeway recently opened and I’m happy to announce that Chipotle will be opening up in January. The addition of these two new restaurants will help increase revenue.

The EDC has gone into an agreement with the new development coming in on Pike Road to provide a better street and drainage. It’s going be a three-way split with Missouri City, Stafford, and the County since the $800 million proposition passed on mobility and drainage and parks that will help Stafford. There’s also a new development coming in on the 13000 block of Staffordshire, the building has been erected and they are moving forward. Hopefully at the beginning of the new year that will be finished. The commercial warehouse development on 1092 is also expected to be completed early next year.

I would like to thank Lotus Seafood on S Main St. for their help with the turkey giveaway during the week of Thanksgiving. We appreciate their presence in our community.
