Free disaster case management services are being offered for individuals and families affected by Hurricane Beryl in both Fort Bend and Harris Counties.
These services are designed to support long-term recovery and are available at no cost for those affected. In partnership with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Disaster Services Corporation SVDP-USA is providing these time-limited services to help communities rebuild and recover.
The Case Management for Disaster Recovery is a free service, which partners a FEMA qualified individual or household to work with a trained Disaster Case Manager 1-on-1. The DCM will perform an assessment of your needs and help you to access eligible resources. A DCM will advocate on behalf of the individuals and families with FEMA, Insurance companies, the Small Business Administration and provide survivors with other disaster related services.
These services include
- A comprehensive assessment of individual and family needs.
- Information and referrals.
- Spanish and Vietnamese speaking disaster case managers.
