National Night Out

National Night Out is a nationwide event that encourages neighbors to organize block parties and get to know each other. Officers from the department break up into two-man teams to visit each of the National Night Out parties. We have handouts and other fun items that we give to our community members.

Due to the Texas heat, the City of Stafford and many other Texas agencies, hold their National Night Out events on the first Tuesday in October. The Stafford Police Department encourages residents to participate in block parties and not one large neighborhood party. The smaller block parties strengthen relationships with those neighbors most familiar with your family and property. The City receives donation items for this event that will be equally distributed among parties.

Starting in 2016, the Stafford Police Department will require all parties that would like to receive donations and/or officer attendance to fill out the below National Night Out Application. All applications must be received two weeks prior to the National Night Out event.

If you have any questions you may contact our Community Liaison Officer at 281-261-3950.
