Tree Limb Service

GFL Environmental (previously WCA Waste Corporation), the City of Stafford’s current Residential Solid Waste contractor, has the capability to pick up tree limbs twice a week with the pickup schedule established city-wide. The total volume of the tree limbs plus your garbage cannot exceed three (3) cubic yards, must be stacked at the curb prior to the day of the scheduled pickup, and can be no heavier than one person can carry. Tree branches, brush, shrubs, and fencing must be tied in bundles, weighing no more than 45 pounds, and being no longer than 4 feet in length. Branches may be no wider than 3 inches in diameter to avoid damaging equipment. For additional information on the Residential Solid Waste schedule or more information about tree limb removal, contact GFL as referenced on the Residential & Commercial Solid Waste page.

Please note, as of October 1, 2024, the City of Stafford no longer provides quarterly tree limb pick up.  Our solid waste collection provider, GFL, provides this service.
